I have a iPhone 7 that has suffered water damage, and I believe the lightning connector may be damaged. How can I tell if the lightning connector on board my phone is damaged? I have already removed it and have cleaned it using isopropyl alcohol, and have a multimeter. Is there any way I can test this? Thanks
The only way is to try known-good parts, or in the absence of that, parts bought from a reputable supplier.
