As the ZXW doesn’t show any details for iPhone 7 A1778 I’ve tried to find a schematic but no success. I have a device with the circled component which looks like a coil to me blown up. It’s just above the intel BB_RF. Does anyone know what this component is please? Update (12/26/2018) Yes. Here is picture of the component.
By comparing the two boards I’d say it should be the L1816 inductor, on PP1V8_SDRAM line, 1.0UH-20%-3.6A-0.060OHM. I have yet to see an Intel version schematic and I’m having quite a bit of troubles myself too in troubleshooting these boards, but it should be a fairly reliable guess in this case, give it a check..
