hey together, i hope somebody can help me. i have two similar iphone 7 present with the same failure. one of them is completely unopen:

  • it hat the complaint that the micro was freezing in due to talking. -afterwards i have done several facory reset in maintenance mode. after a few facory resets with recovery & maintenance it has a freezing screen once a popup occurs. you can enter the apps, but once a popup occurs the screen freezes for a few seconds 5-10 sec. the second iphone is about the same age and had a broken display. i have replaced the display with an original apple display and restored this phone with the maintenance mode as well. now its doing the same thing, freeze on popups. according apple service it could be a problem with voltage drop at the processor (known issue at apple???) after that i have tried to replace the battery with a new one. there is a tiny improvement but problem still there. may somebody help me out? i don’t think its hardware related, at least not with the unopend one. is somebody aware of this issues on the 7? ? Many thanks in advance. Best Alex

It sounds like something failed on the logic board. Unfortunately, this will not be easy to troubleshoot remotely and ideally needs to be looked at by an experienced micro-solderer in order to identify what is wrong with your device. Ideally, you want to find someone local but good workmanship trumps locality. There are many shops worldwide that do this so you shouldn’t have any problems finding them. If you can’t find one locally, then consider mail-in repair. There are several reputable micro-solderers patrolling this forum.
