Dear ifixit family, I have a dead iphone 6s that I tried to repair myself, my first dead-phone repair. The initial problem is the phone turn off by itself and won’t charge or reboot. I tried to reset it (power+home button combo) but no luck. What I found is that the phone is undetected by the itunes. My first try is to replace the battery but still have no response. I thought the battery is flat so I charge it separately and put it back but it still not turning on. As the battery is fine and with charged battery it still not turned on or detected on itunes, I suggest the problem is board level. So I try to replace it. But again, it’s not working with the same issues (not turning on. not charging, undetected on itunes). So I run out of ideas now and need some help, anything that I should try? I really want to fix this phone . Thank you. P.s. I think I will try to replace the lightning port. I will update the results.

if the phone turned off by itself then its probably a logic board issue and changing the charge port wont fix it

If you’ve not tried a new charging port that would be my next step
