Hello, i was changing my screen after i dropped and cracked my old screen on my iphone. I ordered a new screen and put it on the phone. Turned it on. The backlight lit up black but no image. Thought it was the replacement screen so i put the original screen back on. Same thing backlight lit up but no image. Ordered a new screen and still got the same thing as before. Is there a problem with the logic board?? I didn’t disconnect the battery first or screw down any screws.. please help

If none of the screens work, including the original which I assume worked before you replaced it, then you probably have a logic board issue. Not disconnecting the battery can cause a backlight circuit failure and occasionally, it could also cause an LCD driver issue. One way to know for certain is to shine a bright flashlight on the screen when you connect it to an iTunes enabled computer. If you can see a dim image, then the problem is with the backlight. If you cant’ see an image at all, then the issue is with the LCD driver. You should also check the connectors and surrounding area for any damage pr dislodged components. Use magnification as the parts are really small.
