I ordered a new proximity sensor as it somehow disabled siri and would black out my phone screen now and then, after the replacement we accidentally broke the home button ribbon. It is now not turning on and not detected by any pc ? Could this just be the home button?
Siri uses the microphone included in the proximity sensor flex. It appears that your replacement flex is either defective or improperly installed. You may want to double check your steps by following this guide. The Home Button should not cause the phone to go black .
