Hey i found a video that said the camera glass can be removed by heating it up from the outside with a heatgun. I did that, the camera glass didn’t move at all, and now my phone won’t even turn on… I had the display removed before heating so, it’s probably not the display.. Do you guys have any ideas which parts could be bad? Thanks!
You could have damaged the screen cables whiles trying to plug it back in. Plug it into your computer with iTunes turned on to see if iTunes will detect it. You could have blown the backlight circuit, specially if you did not disconnect the battery first and plugged it in last when pulling the screen. You could have caused long screw damage by putting screws in the wrong holes when reassembling the screen. Finally, you could have killed the board using too much heat, if the temp of the board went above 190 Celsius. Whatever the case, you need to have someone with board experience look at it in case it isn’t the screen. I hope you had a back-up of your data too.
The back camera? Did you apply heat to the back of the phone, with the logic board still in? It’s possible you’ve knocked some of the balls loose on the board. That’s what’s coming to mind, you’ll have to send the phone to a board repair shop
