HI, i was given an iPhone 6 for a screen replacement. i was told the touch was not working correctly and we replaced the screen. after that the touch still did not work but i have noticed a bend on the device. i have included pictures. i am thinking possibly touch IC disease and i know it affected iPhone 6 Plus but maybe there are some iPhone 6’s that are affected too. either way the phone is useless and i don’t know what else to think of to do. Ouch…that’s not a nice thing to see. There are worse of course but this is still pretty bad. You are correct, Touch Disease is mainly the iPhone 6Plus but it does happen on the 6 as well, especially phones that were bent. The Cumulus/Meson IC’s will need to be reballed and some of the smaller traces will have to be properly checked for integrity. On the 6 Plus, it turned out that the M1 trace was flaky because it was a very short trace, right along the “fault line” of the bend. There are a few traces like that on the 6 but not M1.
