I replaced my screen perfectly and then, when i tried to connect it back on, i saw smoke between the flex cable and the fpc connector, and when i tried to turn it on, i could sense vibrations and hear siri, but the screen doesn’t turn on I have put all screws at their exact places, my only mistake is that i forgot to unplug the battery, what can i do from now? Would isopropanol on my fpc connector fix the problem? I tried different screens, and they won’t light up

You’ve fried the LCD socket on your logic board. This is not a novice repair. I wouldn’t recommend pulling out your girlfriends hair dryer and attempting to do this for your first time. I would send it out to a logic board repair shop. I hear iPad Rehab does good work. Also there are a few of us here that do it…but we’re not supposed to say? We aren’t allowed to promote our own shops here
