After fixing glass-LCD combined screen on iphone 6 or iphone 6+ sometimes the glass gets out of holding frame after a couple of days. how to fix this problem? Repair Stop
Yup, this’s a common problem reported by many repair shops, check it below for the reasons behind and the solutions for iPhone 6 separated from LCD. http://www.etradesupply.com/blog/reasons…
It’s quite sad that hardly any suppliers are getting good quality screens. Using poor hot melt glue, thicker frames which don’t sit flush in the phone and make it look terrible, a lot of the times the frame itself lifts by the mute button causing the LCD backlight to show through the side and it’s expensive to, if I was a customer paying that much cash, I would be seriously !#^&@@. I don’t think hardly any of us have the right to fix the iPhone 6 or 6 plus till parts get better, considering Apple do it cheaper and obviously have original parts.
If you can’t find a better supplier or better quality screens, trying adding some glue to hold the frame to the glass. I do this sometimes, using tiny amounts of glue. Be very very careful not to let glue get into contact with the LCD and Backlight panels.
There are 2 reasons for this problem:
- Glue
- Frame Check more details here: Problems with iPhone 6 LCD screen replacement
Stop using the cheapest screens you can find. Use screens that have cold pressed frames.
