Just today i got an iPhone 6 from a friend. The phone screen is completely off with no way to get it on. However, the phone is able to turn on. The phone vibrates when muting it, it plays sound & vibrates when charging, it vibrates when booting up, and it can be detected fine by iTunes. However even after rebooting the screen is still completely dead. I thought this would be an easy screen replacement, but even after changing the screen and the battery, the phone screen still doesn’t light up. I can get the phone to boot fine, but im not able to do much with iTunes since it requires me to type in the passcode. It seems the phone is unable to supply power to any screen. Is this a board level issue?

It sounds like it could be a backlight issue. To test this, plug your phone into an iTunes enabled computer and then shine a bright flashlight on the screen. If you can see a dim image, then it is a backlight issue. If you can’t see an image, then it may be an LCD driver issue. Either way, your issue will require a micro-soldering repair.

Hi. 1st try put phone in dfu mode, turn off the phone, after 10 seconds turns press home button and power button. if this not solve your issue, then is logic board issue, it might need new component on motherboard,
