I am new to microsoldering, I was wicking the board to clean it off, and I ended up pulling two pads at the bottom left of the board. Had the microsoldering at 380 is this to hot to wick the board? By the way this is a donor board. the two on the first column were pulled. Can I still put the tristar chip on or is it dead.
All of the pads underneath Tristar are important. You appear to have A1 and A2 pads lifted off the board. You will have to look at the schematic and board view to determine if it is possible to run some jumper wires (hint: yes it is possible). I also recommend you get PhoneBoard software. It is a free boardview software that replicates some of the basic features of ZXW. However, if you are serious about doing micro-soldering repairs, you really should invest in an annual license for ZXW. It is as critical to your success as a soldering iron/hot air station.
find out where the missing pads go to they maybe earth if earth then no problems if connected to another signal on the board you need to use a jumper wire to connect them together
