Hi everyone. I have a 6 plus with Grey bars.. I change the IC (only Black One) , but some part of screen are not working. I think the IC is Used so i order some new and waiting. My question is. When we have a customer with iphone 6 or 6 plus touch hang problem (After check the screen), when we go to change the IC, is it possibile to verify if the problem is coming from U2402 or u2401?? Or its better to change both of them?? Thanks
It’s almost always the black one (Meson). You don’t even have to replace it, just reball it. Don’t forget to create a jumper on M1 because that pad/trace is the one that causes the issue.
