Hi guys, I have a problem with an iphone 6 plus. It got the screen replaced several weeks ago (I don’t know if this could be the issue or if it is just a coincidence) but few days ago the phone was off. when I tried to power it on, it goes to the white screen with apple logo for about 2 seconds and they the screen goes off (except the backlight that its still on and we can see it). I have tried some reset through the keys combination but it didn’t help. I have connected it to itunes in DFU mode and I have tried to restore it. When the progress bar starts to move, the itunes comes with error 9. Does anyone know what could be the next steps to diagnose this problem? Thank you very much in advance!

Error 9 can be NAND or CPU related if the problem is logic board related. However, before going that route, you may want to try a new screen assembly to see if that makes a difference. Considering the screen was replaced recently, it could be part of the problem. I’m certain the shop where you did the repair will be willing to try a screen they have on hand. If the screen is not the issue, then it is probably a logic board issue and that will require a micro-soldering repair. Both are fairly advanced repairs but the CPU repair is not something that every shop can handle. You may need to shop around for that if that’s the issue.
