Replaced the screen on an iPhone today, where the screen was loose from the frame due to poor quality. The phone had no image previously, but when I installed a new screen and powered it on (it had been sitting for months), it would not show an image. Have tried a new screen, restoring, ect ect. I have the data recovered, but would very much like help to how I can get the screen working

Does the phone work with the original, presumably cracked screen? Based on your question, its hard to say if this phone was in a working condition or not. It appears you have either a defective replacement screen or there is a backlight driver issue on the logic board. Connect your phone to iTunes and shine a bright flashlight on the screen. If you can see a dim image, then you have a blown backlight circuit and this will require a micro-soldering repair.
