Hi guys, I have an iPhone 6 here. No water damage. When power on, no display, no backlight. After I opened the phone, I found the display IC U1501 is extremely hot, so I replaced that U1501 with a new one. However, problem remains the same, no image, the new U1501 is still very hot when power on. I checked every cap In the chestnut line & backlight line, no short found anywhere. 6V was detected on 26PP6V0_LCM_BOOST line, so I guess the new display IC is working properly? Does anyone knows what else can cause the display IC to be overheated?
