HAVE YOU EVER HEARD ABOUT A THREAD USING 2.2K RESISTOR THAT CAN SOLVE CHARGING ISSUE ON IPHONE 6 ? Ive read about a thread on the internet about charging solution for IPhone 6. This solution is only if you already changed the Tristar/Tigris/Q1 but still not charging. Im not really understand about this trick. Can someone explain to me more about this trick ? The solution goes like this: PP_3V0_Tristar > 2.2K Resistor > Tigris G1/Battery_SWI *Is it actually working ??

This solution helps solve a problem where the battery charge state is not being properly communicated between Tigris and the CPU. Some of the symptoms could be 3uTools not seeing the battery health data or even boot/slow boot issues. If changing Tristar /Tigris doesn’t solve the issue, then trying the 2.2K trick may work. The basic premise is that you are creating a voltage divider between VCC_MAIN and Ground. Some will say that this is a pull-up/pull-down resistor combo but technically speaking, it is a voltage divider. By using two identical resistors, you are creating a reference point which is half of VCC_MAIN. This reference point should be connected to AP_TO_TIGRIS_SWI. This would solve any issue where the internal structure of the CPU is incapable of stabilizing the signal on this line and hence charge state irregularities. In regards to your previous problem (not charging), this may not be the solution but you should certainly try it if all else fails. There’s a great discussion on the Intro group on FB and in this post, @mdrecovery shows a really professional implementation.
