Hi guys, have seen the various threads on this topic but none seem to fit my issue, Screen originally went really dark, tried the various combo of buttons to force a reset but none helped. Have replaced the battery and touchscreen, phone vibrates, vibrates when receiving a call but screen remains black. I’m convinced there’s an issue with the logic board, any ideas? I am considering buying another complete replacement screen in case the new one I received is faulty…. TIA
It could be the backlight circuit on the logic board that has failed. You can check this by shining a light on the screen and see if you can see an image. The other way would be to use a program called 3uTools, if there is an image on the screen it will show it. If you see an image using these techniques and you have already tried another screen it would confirm a faulty backlight circuit.
whatever thing on the logic board that displays stuff could be bad, or the screen could be bad too. Whered the screen come from?
