Hi I got an IP5s regarding charging issue. The things that I already changed : BatteryCharging PortU2 (1610A1) Checked lines : TP1-1 PP5V0_USB_CONN (4.29v)C304 PP5V0_USB_PROT (4.29v) Not yet change Q2, because the C304 showing normal volt to me What should I do next ? Do i need to change the Q2 as well ?
Q2 is fine. This MOSFET is configured as a reverse voltage protection circuit so if you are seeing voltage on either side, then it is working fine. The problem here is that the voltage you are measuring is low. You should be reading ~5V as this is coming from the charger. What exactly kind of charger is it connected to? You should put an ammeter inline to see what the current draw is.
