I had just recently changed out the housing for an iPhone 5s, after the repair the phone will not charge. I have already tried replacing the lightning flex with one from ifixit. There is no change after replacing the flex. Also, the battery is a brand new ifixit battery. What do you think is wrong?

Hey Robert! Sorry to hear about your problem. Changing the housing of an iPhone 5s can be a very frustrating thing if you have not done it many times before. It sounds to me like your mother board got shocked somewhere. Like one of the small coils got burnt out. Thats something that can easily happen even from a simple LCD replacement. So i would suggest taking to your local repair shop and see if they work on motherboards. If they do, then they should know what their doing and youll be in good shape. If you cant find anyone, there are people doing these kind of repairs on eBay. I myself even do that kind of work through eBay. Sorry if this wasnt much help or what you wanted to hear. If you have any other questions Please ask! Thanks!
