Hi, i have found similar topics though from this forum and other forums, but didnt find any excatly the same. Hope you will find some minutes to answer my question. I replaced my battery and after replacing home button and charging port and mic not working. I didnt check my headphones jack and cant do it since my battery is dead and i cant recharge it. Weird thing is if i connect my charger to a completely powered off phone then it shows up that empty battery image, so it does recognize my charger somehow. In my opinion i replaced battery clearly, not damaging anything else. But i dont know what to do now. I dont have the parts yet but trying to replace charging port with mic. Thanks in advance.
I just answered a similar (yet different) question over Loudspeaker doesn’t work after replacing battery. Did you follow this guide exactly? If you pried the battery (instead of the pull tabs), double check the dock and battery connector and the surrounding passive components (they are tiny, use magnification). You may have dislodged some components or damaged the connector. Should this be the case, it will require a micro-soldering repair and is not DIY.
