hello friends, i changed lcd on an iphone 5g. i left the iphone 5 on the table for about 3 weeks. battery was of course empty. when i try to charge it shows me “the connect to itunes sign” changed the battery and restored it via itunes, same issue. i cannot put it in dfu mode, dont know why. appreciate your help. thank you in advance.
It’s one of three things. Either the power button, the home button, or your timing. The easiest part to replace, or check on, of these would be the home button. Make sure the contacts on the home button cable look good, and also the contacts on the Lightning dock. You should be able to use the power button, to turn it off and on, to rule that out
