I have an iphone 5c, looking at it I noticed my rear camera was dusty so I decided to clean it up. Everything went fine as I took the phone apart, but when I finished and closed my phone up, it would’nt turn on. I’m not sure what to do, everything seems to be connected inside. However, while I was fixing my phone it turned on and I had to turn it off while it was still opened up. Could that have been the problem why it is not working? If not, what else could it be?

To answer your last question, yes that definitely could be the issue here. Keeping your battery plugged in while working on the phone can cause the logic board to get shocked and shorted out. That is probably what happened. So it doesnt show signs that it is coming on at all? like it does not vibrate or anything? it just completely wont come on?… If it doesnt, i would suggest taking it to apple, or sending it in to see what they say. I wouldnt tell them that it has been open or anything because they can turn you down for that. If it shows signs of coming on, like vibrating, making any sounds then its possible to be fixed, but that would require some expensive micro soldering work. And still in this case its cheaper and better to talk to apple. I hope This was of some help!
