I replaced the charging port and everything works fine, when I plug the lightning cable it shows charging icon right next to the battery but it doesn’t charge up. Any idea? Thank you and sorry for the bad english
Is there any water damage related to this phone? Have you recently replaced the battery? It sounds to me that either the new charging port is bad or the battery has gone akput. leaning more towards the new connector.
@king_nothing that your “charging icon right” shows means your phone recognizes it. You did not tell us why you replaced the port in the first place. It is possible that this is caused by a failed charging IC. Common failure on iPhones that where charged with after market chargers. Yes, replace the battery as well, but it may need some board level repair. Check the componenets around the battery connector and the charging IC.
