I have IPhone 5 dead. I tested the PP_BATT_VCC and PP_VCC_MAIN and they aren’t shorted to ground. But while inspecting the board i found the following: 1- line HS3_CONN is shorted to ground. 2- Q8’s Drain and Source are shorted. Can any line of those stop the phone from charging and booting
Any shorted line can prevent the iPhone from booting since it’s everything one way or the other connected with the Soc. Unless you can dispose of shorts you’re stuck.
