Chosen Solution
My phone started acting up and wouldn’t charge normally but when I would put pressure on the lighting cable it would charge. Gradually it got worse and I had to put use more pressure along with some finagling. Then one day my cable broke after using too much pressure so I decided to replace the charging port. After replacing the charging port it still wont charge. Everything else works- screen, speaker, camera, microphone. I don’t know if it’s a faulty charging port or something else. I’m not a techy guy. At the very least I just want to find a spare charged battery so I can get some files off of the phone. But obviously I would like it to work.
