I am replacing the screen on an iphone 4s for my first time and i have started putting the new screen in, i slid the digitilized through and put everything together but it is too short and won’t reach the motherboard, i have seen many posts saying that you just havnt gotten the whole chord through the hole, well im pretty sure that the whole chord is through and wont budge anymore, here are some images of what i am dealing with.
Someone please help.
Can you take a picture of the screen cable (with screen off phone) in a brighter environment? It seems like part of the digitizer ribbon cable well the start of it from the digitizer itself has been glued or stuck onto the glass. You will have to be very careful in pulling or separating it from the glue as it is very easy to tear or rip the cable.
I know what this is. When pulling the two cables through the little hole, it’s very frustrating I assure you, there’s a small tab like ribbon further down, that needs to be pulled through the hole, with the other two cables
