My surface-mount soldering skills are on the basic level. I got set back even further when I saw one of the pads had also detached with the battery connector. I actually heard the iPhone 4S can function without a battery. How should I restore functionality on that detached pad? I will go hunt for a schematic. What’s the likelihood of restoring the phone to usable condition? We want to perform data recovery, at the very least.
