Solved Iphone 4S A1387 Screen Replacement Same For 8Gb Versus 16 32 And 64 Iphone 4S

I was told that the 8GB 4S is actually a 4 and therefore requires a different LCD digitizer assembly than the 16, 32 and 64GB 4S’s. Is this true?

berkley, if your phone is an A1387 then it is a 4S, regardless of the memory size. The LCD as well as the procedure are the same. Hope this helps, good luck.

According to http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/ip… the A1387 8GB is the 4S* which is the global version. Hope that helps
