Hi,i’ve accidently dropped my iphone 4 in seawater.i immediately took it out and after an hour or so i diassembled it and let it dry . after a few a days i reassembled it and found that the rear camera was not working so i took it apart again and found some rust near the resistors which are at the part where the camera connects to the motherboard.i then cleaned the area with isopropyll alcohol and a brush . but to my dismay two small resistors came off near the camera circuit . now everything in the phone functions except the camera. Is there anyway that these resistors can be resoldered or the pcb repaired ?or should i get a new pcb ?

iPhone 4 Teardown take a look at a zoomed in version of a working board..think you’ve knocked/scrubbed off 3 smd parts. As to whether you’ve anything to solder to, and the tools needed for the job is another story. If you aren’t skilled or equipped then look online for someone who can do the job. One of the guys who answers questions on here called Hector Truong may be able to give you some good advice on how to proceed. Click on “answers” go to “users” and look for his name, clicking on that should give you an email contact.

Sounds like you scrubbed too hard. If the solder pads are still present on the PCB you might be able to locate the needed resistors and re-solder them on. Using a digital Ohm meter can you measure the resistors? If not try to locate a junker iPhone to pull the resisters off of. Otherwise you’ll need a new PCB
