I just replaced my iphone 4’s lcd digitizer along with the screen since it was cracked but after I was done, I had plugged it into the charger but it just won’t charge anymore. I even tried a brand new usb charger and nothing. The iphone does turn on and everything is fine but it just wont charge. How can I fix this problem? Please answer! My phone is at 28% :(
Turn the phone off. Next, plug in your USB charger. If it lights up the phone that means your cable and (charging) connector in the phone are probably all good and the battery is bad. During the replacement, you could have shorted the battery – so, try reseating the cable — if it doesn’t charge after that, then you’ll pretty much know it is the battery. If after the battery replacement, it does the same thing, then it would probably be an issue with the dock connector.
