my iphone wont turn on.. my mistake was i accidentally touch the red wire and the grey wire on the usb cable while charging..cant charge anymore.. how to fix this..? whats the problem and what should i do..? uhm.. ill be adding some details.., it also wont turn on even i push any buttons but i charged it around half full.., no sign of lights to the iphone… i shorted the usb around the wire before the usb plug of the iphone (not the computer usb..)..

a new logic board is the last option i would think of. the first one is measuring the voltage of the battery - shourted batterys can “collapse” and have 0v after that - that would mean that the iphone can’t boot nor charge (the iphone’s battery must have around 3v to show you any sign of charging) another possible problem could be that a fuse is shot - the iphone’s charging circuit has a fuse - that could have been shot while you shorted the contacts

and i think that the usb port can also have a fuse - so i would try if other devices work properly on that specific usb port.
