Chosen Solution
Phone works in 3g, but does not pick up any 2g reception. Anytime I am out of 3g range it gets no reception. If I switch to 2g mode (to save battery) it goes to one bar then searching… Switched antenna (full dock) still no 2g reception. Any help?
Vibhor/Anyone else that may be looking at this. If you have ATT, I believe they have recently started shutting down the 2G network (at least in the US). I got a message from ATT late last year saying that 2G service would soon no longer be available and that I had to move to the 3G network. It’s possible that this has finally reached you.
