Hello, Got an iPhone 11 was not turning on when the customer brought it to me. Opened to phone and found a short on PP_BATT_VCC on the battery connector. Tried using rosin smoke method to find a short but i am unable to. I suspect it is the Tigris chip (u3300). Any help would be appreciated! :D
The charging circuit is different on the 11 series. I think you will find you have a PP_VDD_MAIN short. Time to split the board and find what layer it is on. Than you can inject voltage and find out what is getting hot.
