Chosen Solution
So I decided to replace my IPad Mini Screen because it was cracked and everything went well until my phone lost all charge so I couldn’t watch the ifix it video about it, by this time I was already committed and has stuff in the device. I did the screen replacement and accidentally cut the digitiser on the old screen taking it off and not when I try to put the new glass digitiser on it won’t respond at all. Please help I’m gonna be in so much trouble because it’s not muni iPad it’s my friends and I’m trying to fix it for him. I need urgent help!!!
Cutting the old digitizer flex shouldn’t cause any problems, lot’s of tech actually do this when removing damaged digitizers (it’s faster). I would go through this guide completely to see if you didn’t accidentally damage anything else along the way and correct as needed. Report back with any findings.
