Chosen Solution

Hey all, New to the forums and new to working on a iPad Mini 4 reassembly. We had to replace a digitizer that was cracked with a brand new one, my only issue with it is trying to close the whole thing back up. Currently the issue persists near the bottom right hand corner of the screen but it can be the top right hand corner as well (Its usually on the right hand side.) My Theory is that the cables that attach from the digitizer and the board are not wanting to seat correctly and keeping the screen popped up. Attached with this post is a image of said iPad Mini 4, any help would be appreciated.

Your theory is on point - cable is not folding in the right direction causing screen not to sit flush, you may also want to remove old adhesive and use Tesa 61395 tape, this is currently the best adhesive for screen repair. Tesa 61395 Tape @refectio wrote a great guideline for iPad screen repair, check out his answer in this post: After doing my repairs (battery and screen) I have problems
