I need to replace the Home button assembly on an iPad Air A1474. There is a procedure for the iPad Air 2 here (link below). Can I use this procedure and the recommended parts? No, the Air 2 Home Button has Touch ID and is different from the iPad Air Home Button. You will want to order this flex (assuming this is what you need to replace and not the actual round button-top)
