Hi all, Today I tried to change my touch screen of my broken iPad. This all went without problems, but when I tried to install everything back, I had problem with installing the ribbon cable of the LCD. As you can see on the photo, the white stripe on the cable is not pushed in enough to work. At the touch cables the white stripe isn’t visible, because this one is fitted well. Why is the cable not going far enough? I don’t want to put too much force to it. Thanks in advance.

It might as well be that is sufficiently inside as it is..did you try locking it in place and check if it’s firmly connected ? Otherwise there might be some debris to be possibly blown away with some compressed air.
