Hello all, I have a question if somebody has the same problem as I have. I have iPhone 7 with fresh iOS 11.3 with fixed display. After updating the microphone stopped working and even when I tested it with the original display it is not working anymore. Until update it was all working OK. Thanks.
Backup the phone via iTunes then restore it which will wipe all data on the phone. Test microphone again and see if it works still. If it does not chances are the issue is caused by the audio IC chip which can only be replaced by people that do micro soldering (some mobile phone shops that offer board repair can offer the service for you).
So…. it was IC Audio chip connection - after just reheating the chip to reconnection all is working… Thaks Ben and Oscar
