Chosen Solution
Sometimes on boot up trackpad and keyboard will not work although a remote mouse plugged into USB port works ok but the keyboard still does not work. If unit dropped about 3 inches on carpet (naughty i know ) works again, although sometimes stops working again whilst in use. I suspect a loose cable/plug. Any ideas?
Yep, if you drop it and it works then a cable will be loose. Basically, make sure all the connections to the logic board featured in this guide are in properly.
