I am trying to replace the back panel of my iPhone 4 with the nifty transparent iFixit back panel. But, I can’t make it slide in the last 2mm. Any advice? Thanks.
Thanks for your advice. It seems that I received the wrong part. iFixit is sending me a replacement.
Hi, I have the exact same problem. My rear panel slides about half of the way, then it seems as something is in the way of the tiny plastic guides. I think I received the appropiate part, as it’s virtually identical to the original one. I don’t know what to do :(
I ordered the transparent back panel for my 4s a couple of weeks ago and got the wrong one as well. A side by side comparison of the original back and the clear one made it obvious. Ifixit sent a replacement right away.
