Well I’ve done it all. Even installed a brand new switch. It worked perfect the first 3 times. The Blankety Blank thing is at it again. We paid 42.00 dollars for a new switch. Now it is doing the same thing. Sometimes I wish we never had to depend on modern convenience then we would not know what we are missing when it all of a sudden won’t work. If anyone has an idea let me know?

Try this. Remove the top cover of the washer. To remove the top cover, my washer had 3 screws on the back. Once the cover has been removed, you should see the Central Control Unit (CCU). Simply give the far right terminal a little push inwards and that should to the trick. I believe the far right terminal controls the front door latch ( F DL ). If not, give all the terminals to the left a little push. I’m guessing vibration from the washer causes the terminal to shake loose which results in the F DL error code. I hope this helps.
