Hi. I have a HP Zbook 17 G3 laptop. I want to install a fingerprint reader. Does anyone have a service manual showing how to do it?
Hi @davsnotn , Here’s a link to the service manual for your laptop. Scroll to p.54 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the fingerprint reader bracket and board. Use the steps to gain access and then install the fingerprint reader board and bracket by reversing the procedure. Also at the top of p.54 you’ll find the part numbers for the parts required. Search online, using the part(s) number only in the search box of your browser, to find suppliers of the parts. Hopefully this is of some help.
