Hello, My current 2008 iMac is not booting and stuck on the white loading screen. I only have 1gb of RAM in the computer and run both windows and OS from it. Do you think upgrading the RAM will solve the issue? Thanks a lot:

Actually, no. It’s probably the hard drive. Try booting from your original system installation disk. Insert the disk on start up, hold down the “C” key, go to the second page pull down menu and run Disk Utilities on the hard drive. Some more RAM wouldn’t hurt at all! You can add just one at a time.
