I am replacing the battery in my iPhone SE with an iFixit kit. The battery appears to have the adhesive strips already attached to the back of the battery. There is the pink plastic cover with a tab at the top, but no evidence of the blue cover that they talk about in the repair guide. The strips seem fairly securely fashioned to the back of the battery. Do I just peel the pink off and install the battery? The small hole in the black tab at the bottom would then be on the opposite side as it was on the factory battery (SIM card side rather than volume side as with the factory battery). Thanks!
Yes! Thats all you need to do here. Do make sure the surface in the iPhone is clean and no adhesive from the older battery is present as that will interfere with the new adhesive making good adhesion.
