hey guys i want to replace my iphone x display and i was just wondering is the quality and the part number of ifixit oled for iph x the same as the one that apple itself provide? i mean the part number and the model and i really just want the same part not aftermarket and lcd or anything else.
If you want an OEM screen you’ll either have to get one either from a donor device or go through apple. A lot of us independent repair shops use aftermarket, some even use OEM refurbished and will offer some sort of warranty with it. 99% of my customers don’t care that it’s aftermarket and rarely see any difference between them. Just make sure you get a soft OLED panel. They’re more durable compared to their hard counterparts and avoid LCD because they consume more energy and you do run the risk of damaging the actual connector on the board. Just take your time and keep the parts organized and you shouldn’t have any trouble.
