Hello! I’m trying to identify the third black strip when you first open the watch that isn’t a part of the display flex cable. I’m unsure if it’s just tape or a cable. Can someone help me identify what it is?

The watch is currently taken apart to replace the display flex cable, but this is a photo of where it disconnected.

And now with the cables disconnected from the display unit
The thin cable is a grounding cable to link the displays ground to the watch bases ground. This has two functions one to dissipate static discharge you might have and to control EMI noise Its anchored within the crown wheel unit and the foil sheet which is applied to the back of the display.
