Hi All, I have a recently water damaged iPhone 5s which I have managed to revive with the exceptions of touch ID, flash and rear camera (front camera is fine). I’ve noticed some damage to a chip near to the front camera connector and was wondering if it may be the culprit. Can anyone identify the chip and what its function might be please? I suspect the touch ID is a lost cause.

Makka, that is U16 which is the compass. It is a AKC8963 BGA IC.
