i have this 5s which i ended up replacing the LCD Digitizer twice but the same problem occurs. Touch Id works but the home button isn’t. Can anyone help?
When did this start occurring? Following a drop? A repair? Liquid spill? Did you replace the LCD to fix the issue, or had this issue after replacing the LCD? Let us know all the details in chronological order. To get you started quickly though, you can examine the logic board around both the battery and dock connectors on the logic board. For that remove the black foil that covers parts of that area VERY VERY carefully, and look for damaged/corroded/missing/part removed components. Let us know if you find something, Use a good magnifying glass, something like 20x or more.
