Ice maker tray will not dump. Reset button works and water fills and freezes. We have had 2 new ice makers installed but we still have the same problem. What tells the tray it is time to dump the ice?
Our model does not have an arm. It has a sensor to stop ice making
In lots of models there is an arm that clicks down or up.As the ice bucket fills the arm gets lifted to a higher position and this stops the ice maker from dumping and making more ice. Yours may be in the up position.
